Paskaita Nidos seminare

Rugsėjo 7 d., 39-ojo tarptautinio fotomenininkų seminaro metu, Nidos kultūros ir turizmo centre „Agila“ (Taikos g. 4) Tomas Pabedinskas dalyvaus diskusijoje „Archyvų trauka“ (pokalbį moderuos A. Narušytė, diskutuos G. Česonis, M. Matulytė, N. Arlauskaitė, I. Meilutė-Svinkūnienė, K. Šapoka).

Rugsėjo 8 d. T. Pabedinskas taip pat skaitys paskaitą „Istorinio ir individualaus laiko matmens reprezentacija fotografijoje”. Pranešime bus apžvelgiami lietuvių autorių Aleksandro Ostašenkovo ir Vytauto Pletkaus nauji fotografijų albumai, siekiant atskleisti skirtingus laiko tėkmės perteikimo fotografijoje būdus. Analizuojami asmeninio laiko pajautimo ir istorinių laikotarpių kaitos reprezentavimo metodai šių autorių darbuose, jie lyginami su ankstesnėmis klasikinio reportažo tradicijomis, keliami istorinius pokyčius atspindinčios lietuvių autorių kūrybos aktualumo tarptautiniame kūrybinės fotografijos kontekste klausimai.

On the 7th of September, during the 39th international photo artists’ seminar in Nida, at culture and tourism centre „Agila“ (Taikos g. 4) Tomas Pabedinskas will take part in a discussion “The Allure of Archives” (moderator A. Narušytė, participants G. Česonis, M. Matulytė, N. Arlauskaitė, I. Meilutė-Svinkūnienė, K. Šapoka).

On the 8th of September T. Pabedinskas will also read a paper “The Representations of Historical and Individual Time Dimension in Photography”. The lecture will review the new photo albums of Lithuanian authors Aleksandras Ostašenkovas and Vytautas Pletkus with the aim to reveal different ways to render time flow in photography. The methods of the representation of individual time sensation and the change of historical periods in the works of these authors will be analyzed. They will be compared with the former traditions of classical photo reportage and the questions of these works’ relevance in the international context of creative photography are raised.
